“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38
Although many wonderful things are being done for God’s children through-out the world, Trinity HOPE has been called to concentrate our work in Haiti since 1999.
Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere, while being one of the United States’ closest neighbors (less than a 90-minute flight from Miami). Two out of three Haitians live on less than US$2 per day.
The United Nations estimates that 62% of the Haitian population suffers from malnutrition. Less than 50% of Haitian households have access to clean drinking water.
The children we serve often come to school without eating breakfast and are forced to go home to families that have no food for dinner. This meal is truly life-sustaining.
We believe in Haiti’s future.
By educating upcoming generations, Haiti has HOPE. Future leaders are being developed now.
Trinity HOPE’s feeding programs allow the children to stay engaged in school and retain what they are learning. We have seen regular attendance, student’s national test scores, and grade level advancement all increase significantly.
“God told us to start feeding the kids in Haiti in 1999 and He just hasn’t ever told us to stop.”
- John Hall, our ministry’s late founder
In 1999, Trinity HOPE started by feeding 42 children in one school. Since then God has continued to bless our efforts. We now provide over 60,000 daily meals in 265 schools throughout Haiti. We continue to work hard because there are thousands of kids on our waiting list . . . hoping for a better future.
